Couples’ sleep patterns reveal female’s satisfaction

According to a new study, the old saying should go, “happy wife, happy night life.” Research shows that a woman’s satisfaction in her relationship is revealed through how well a couple sleeps together. Lead author and researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, Heather Gunn, has been studying sleep through a different lens. “Most of what is known about sleep comes from studying it at the individual level; however, for most adults, sleep is a shared behaviour between bed partners,” said Gunn.
