Peak Web March 4, 2025

By: Elijah Dunham-Jasich, SFU Student I find most of my Burnaby campus joy in myopic fashion. The AQ’s single-paned windows and their accompanying “be heat aware” posters bring me joy. Peak Web January 22, 2025

By: Sofia Chassomeris, Opinions Editor As a girl, I feared the merciless spectre of age. I was taught it would tarnish me — crow’s feet, smile lines, stiff limbs and fingers all blemishes in contribution to decay.  But when I…

Brighter side: Coins, fountains, and wishes

Peak Web March 19, 2022

By: Jacob Mattie, Opinions Editor Throwing coins into fountains, to the best of my knowledge, has no wish-granting powers. Trust me; I’ve thrown many coins into many fountains and I’ve yet to notice any tendency for these wishes to come true.…
