Six deaths in a shooting at the Islamic cultural centre of Quebec City

Last Sunday, the mosque was targeted by Alexandre Bissonnette, who opened fire on Muslim people gathered inside the building for evening prayers. Six people died and 19 were wounded. Bissonnette surrendered to police after trying to escape. His classmates and neighbors described him as quiet, withdrawn, and introverted.
