C2D2 research initiative comes to life Senate approved the proposal for the establishment of the Centre for Cell Biology, Development, and Disease (C2D2) as a centre for a five-year term. The proposal was brought forward by Michael Silverman from the Department of Biological Sciences and Michel Leroux from the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, who offered to initially co-direct the centre.
