There was a point as a child when I just stopped watching cartoons. I'm not entirely sure what nebulous social rule told me I needed to stop doing something that I liked, but I stopped watching nonetheless. It wasn't until I was older, wiser, and out of my “everything-that-I-do-must-be-cool-or-rebellious” phase, I came to realize that cartoons were cool.
