Former SFU basketball star to play for WNBA team

A former SFU women’s basketball star has made it to the big league. It was recently announced that Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe, who last played for SFU in the 2012–13 season, was named to the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team New York Liberty. She was part of the team’s roster at the season tipoff on May 13. Raincock-Ekunwe, who stands at 6’2”, is no stranger to playing at the professional level.
