SFU should pre-emptively cancel class during extreme weather situations

by Marco Ovies, Features Editor On November 15, the Lower Mainland was hit by the worst storm it has seen all year. Numerous roads were closed, streets (and entire towns) were flooded, and there was debris everywhere. Yet what did I have to do the morning of this storm? That’s right, I had to drive to school.
