SFSS fall kickoff concert sees impressive profit
January 10, 2018After finalizing its expenses and revenues, the fall kickoff concert hosted by the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS) in September 2017 saw no monetary losses. In fact, it had the highest attendance in the student society’s history, making it the most successful kickoff concert to date. The fall kickoff concert is the largest event organized by the student society at the beginning of the academic year. The event was formed back in fall 2013, and its purpose is to foster a sense of community and school spirit amongst Simon Fraser University students, according to Alam Khehra, vice-president of student life.…
