She’s returned to assistant production editor for her last two semesters before taking on the world with a degree in Interactive Arts and Technology. Asked about how she customizes article layouts, she says it’s all about tone: “Humans are very semantic creatures and we’re constantly creating meaning in things all the time, even if we’re not aware of it! Designing means to become aware of all those possibilities and use them to our advantage.” Abbey’s visual inspiration includes signage, menus, and brochures.…
