Woohoo: Singleness Awareness Day Unbeknownst to many lovers out there, America’s favourite romantic day of recognition is also known to ‘outsiders’ by a few other labels — my favourite being ‘Singleness Awareness Day.’ Yes, all you single people. February 14 is the day where you recognize and reflect on the fact that you’re alone. For most single people, this is a difficult reality; I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen silently indignant individuals scoff at relationships as if they’re meagre annoyances.
